This is an application whose overall importance may lie in being able to connect users who may not engage with the government or civic issues on a regular basis or at all.

Big fan of how people are able to vote on polls & see the results! Theres som pretty interesting in depth demographic data you can look at. Useful way to get an idea of where your community stands on an issue.

Excited about the updates!

Amazing improvements -looking forward to whats next. Timely, effective and now I can target my issues. Love it.

There is no politically neutral way for all citizens to be informed around issues they care about at local, state, or national levels and then be able to make their voice count. This app is headed in the right direction and when it hits a critical number of users we will see "we the people" back in charge.

Latest version changed the way I dismiss polls. If I wasnt interest in a poll, I wiped left. That feature is gone! Now my list of polls just grows longer and longer housing issues I DONT care about and can now not dismiss or otherwise delete. STOP tweaking apps that were great to begin with...the constant muddling ultimate piss s off your users.

Just think if we all had this app to communicate on issues in our community!

Moved to United States 2 years ago. I really love the Polls section of this app, as it keeps me engaged with issues I care about, especially related to Education and Immigration, and by voting - I feel like my voice really counts.

I used to love this app, but ever since the remake its so cluttered. What were once multiple reads a day has now gone to months between just opening the app. The frustration of finding those things that are important to me has kept me away. I would love to see the old app return!

Its a nice looking, well executed app...but trying to navigate through the app...UGH!!! Start over folks!

There are still a ton of bugs. How is it possible to release such a buggy app when the first version was so much more stable. 2.0.1 is slightly more operable than 2.0.0. New issues are crashing upon opening of issues, no home button when deep in the poll section, and a host of others. Figure it out please and then maybe I will work on letting others know about the app.

I like how I can follow issues I care about and vote in polls related to those issues. Its also cool to see the polling demographics broken down based on who has participated in the polls.

The app is a complete disappointment. Its just a social media news app with no substance. The removal of representatives voting records is an egregious decision that I do not understand the logic behind. That feature was the one part of the app it provided that couldnt be more easily found elsewhere. In exchange they provide you with stats on that representatives district, which are ultimately useless since theyre just giving you information on how the district you live in compares to others rather than what the representative has done for or against the district. In addition to this issue the polling has become incredibly clunky, with results being displayed oddly on multiple pages often with meaningless answer choices. The decision to display state polling results in a list is mind boggling since this layout is far less intuitive than the previous iteration of the app and makes state by state comparisons unnecessarily difficult. The only thing the app is useful for anymore is to notify people who their representatives actually are and provide their contact info. Beyond that its an ugly political Facebook that asks for an unsettling amount of information in exchange for being able to "follow" and "care" about things. My biggest grievance with it is the removal of the voting records but even outside that I would not recommend the app in its current incarnation to anyone as it provides nothing that a dedicated news app or a Google search couldnt give you better.

The "NEW" version stinks

With the updated, my info disappeared. When I re-entered it, my representatives still cant be found. The navigation is not user friendly. A seriously useful app seems to be turning into political Facebook. Please fix it

Im not sure how to disable location tracking without going through my phones settings. And also I cant tell which issues are issues in my area because there is no distance indicator. And lastly, Im not sure if icitizen does this but it would be nice if during elections icitizen would list my areas running politicians and give a short description about what they are for and against and what they represent.

New version is not nearly as user friendly. The visual design of this app is very important to encourage its use. This new design is confusing and makes me feel claustrophobic for some reason. Its very off-putting. You had something great going. Why did you completely throw it out?? Please dont pull a "George Lucas" here and abandon everything that made you such a great app to start with.

I love the idea behind this app. Taking polls is easy. I like that I can express my opinions quickly in an app like this.
